The people behind the work.
LeadClient is led by an operating team with deep experience across plaintiff legal marketing, intake, finance, and operations. The people below have built and run the systems that turn paid media into retained cases for the firms doing the most consequential work in mass tort and personal injury.
Jon Gottfried is the founder and CEO of LeadClient. He has over 25 years of legal marketing experience, and has been responsible for generation of cases that have produced over $3 billion in plaintiff awards, including over $2 billion in bellwether verdicts.
He has personally overseen case generation across every major mass tort docket of the modern era — from Fen-Phen and Vioxx through transvaginal mesh, talc, Roundup, hair relaxer, and PFAS.
He is also the CEO of JAZ Capital Partners, an early-stage investment vehicle focused on consumer companies with a particular interest in legal technology. JAZ has led seed rounds in Themis-Tech Inc. (Flare/Marble) and Turnout Technologies, Inc., and participated in the Finch Legal seed round. He sits on the board of Turnout Technologies.
Dax Valdez is Chief Revenue Officer of LeadClient, where he leads partner-firm engagement across case acquisition, pre-litigation services, and docket management. He works with plaintiff firms, referring counsel, and litigation funders to develop case-acquisition strategies that maximize return on investment and drive practice growth. Each engagement is built to maximize media spend, intake architecture, and pre-litigation services around each partner’s objectives.
Originally from Texas, Dax built his career in Los Angeles running digital marketing companies. He has deep relationships across both the plaintiff bar and the digital marketing industry, with particular expertise in performance media economics and the partner-facing work that drives long-term relationships.
Jordan Berman is Chief Strategy Officer of LeadClient, where his vision shapes the firm’s case-acquisition platform, technology infrastructure, and operating model. He brings over two decades of experience building and scaling operations across the digital marketing and legal-marketing industries, with a particular focus on the operational systems and platform architecture that drive efficient case-acquisition.
Before LeadClient, Jordan scaled a startup from 5 to over 100 employees, built and sold a digital advertising agency, and grew Legal Offers into an Inc. 5000 company. At LeadClient, he has architected the automation infrastructure underpinning the firm’s case-acquisition operation — connecting media, intake, and case management into a single operating system.
Brian Szuberla is Chief Financial Officer of LeadClient, a position he has held since 2023. He has over a decade of experience in finance, tax, and accounting, with deep expertise in business taxation for corporations and partnerships.
Before LeadClient, Brian practiced at Deloitte and Moss Adams, and was a partner at Hughes Szuberla. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California, with a B.S. in Management Science from UC San Diego and an M.S. in Accountancy (taxation) from San Diego State University.
Adrienne Carter is Chief Business Development Officer at LeadClient, where she leads the firm's Retail Case Acquisition Division and shapes new business strategy. Over more than 17 years in the plaintiff legal sector, she has built relationships with leadership firms across the country.
Before LeadClient, Adrienne built a successful intake marketing team and helped scale a major U.S. litigation funder that deployed more than $300 million in capital.
Ben Slor is Vice President of Marketing at LeadClient and runs the firm's Tel Aviv office, where he manages a team of senior marketers and developers.
Ben worked directly with TikTok to establish legal advertising as a permitted category on the platform — opening a new acquisition channel for the plaintiff bar.
Before LeadClient, Ben led marketing strategies that launched consumer brands into regulated U.S. markets and built startups into companies generating tens of millions in revenue.
David Nathan is Director of Online Marketing at LeadClient, with responsibility for media buying across search, social, native, display, and CTV. He deploys over $25 million in media annually across active dockets and has been at LeadClient for over 15 years.
David has over two decades of experience in paid search. He was one of the first marketers to use Facebook to generate leads for law firms, dating back to the Yaz/Yasmin litigation, and has been early on every major paid channel as it emerged for legal advertising, including Google PPC, YouTube, and TikTok.
Mariah Trinh is Director of Intake Operations at LeadClient and runs the firm's Denver office, where she leads a team of 20+ intake specialists. She is responsible for training, compliance, and quality control across the intake operation.
Mariah works directly with partner firms on retention decisions and case-quality calibration, refining screening criteria as docket evidence develops.
Mariah launched the Denver office and has nearly a decade of experience in client intake.
Maria Accorinti is Director of Business Development at LeadClient, with responsibility for partner relationships across plaintiff law firms and litigation funds. She works with partners to align case-acquisition campaigns and intake operations to firm-specific docket criteria.
Maria began her career in intake, where she developed her foundation in claimant qualification and the case-fact capture that retained cases require. She has since moved into partner-facing work, where the same operational fluency translates into engagements that match the operational depth firms expect when they outsource case acquisition.
